The wild mushrooms come from Francep International in France. Francep has been picking, cleaning and packing wild mushrooms since 1996. They sell well over 1300 tons of mushrooms every year. From Francep we get our cantarells, Ceps, truffles and Morels. This is a very broad, high quality, product line which is handpicked and thoroughly cleaned by hand. The vast majority of the mushrooms comes from Europe where the first sight of Ceps is like the  coming of spring. In some regions the morelle is called "the queen of spring". The mushrooms we import only come from the top quality of the product line and it is very rare that objects like small stones are found in the mushrooms, which often happens with lower quality wild mushrooms. The usage of wild mushrooms is constantly growing and becoming more popular, both as a garnish and in soups and sauces.
